DEIMOS Engenharia is a private Portuguese company founded in 2002, operating in aerospace activities, and is part of the Elecnor Group. Elecnor is a large Spanish group specialised in integrated management and promotion of projects and infrastructure development. It is traded on the “Continuous Trading” market of the Spanish Stock Exchange, and since the start of its business activities in 1958, it has gradually embarked on a diversification process that currently covers a total of 12 sectors within four large business areas: Networks and Infrastructures, Telecommunications and IT, Renewable Energies, and Concessions.

In the year 2009, Elecnor decided to concentrate all their technological activities under the structure of the former DEIMOS Group. The implementation starts with a gradual concentration of subsidiaries and operating units and culminates in the year 2011 with the creation of Elecnor Deimos, which is the group of technological companies of Elecnor Group, employing more than 400 people in Portugal, Spain, Romania and United Kingdom.
Elecnor Deimos has a proven track record in the space sector (which is its core business), being today one of the leading suppliers of space systems in Europe. Elecnor Deimos specializes in the development of engineering studies and turnkey solutions in the areas of Mission Analysis, Systems Engineering, and critical software for Space and Ground Segments, including Real-Time applications, but is also a satellite integrator, data provider and operator of Earth Observation satellite ( DEIMOS-1, and DEIMOS -2).
